The first day of the 51st annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament came and went Monday without a single blue marlin being weighed in.

One hundred-fifty-three boats left port in perfect weather conditions with only 14 boats catching a marlin. All 14 boats were forced to release their catches because they were undersized.

The boats hope that the good weather will continue as they the water tomorrow in search of the tournament's first big catch. The first boat to snag a 500-pound marlin will win a $310,250 prize.
