The Boston Celtics are the best team in the Eastern Conference of the NBA. They boast a 16-4 record. Boston plays the best style of "Smash-Mouth Style Basketball" in the league. They are simply  the "Beast of the East" and deserve a team nickname for their style of play.

Dunkadelic Sports Marketing created the new nickname because Boston is the one NBA team that plays basketball like the Ravens, Jets, Steelers, Patriots, Packers, or Bears play football "Smash Mouth Style."

Derrick E. Vaughan of Dunkadelic Sports Marketing said, "after watching the Steelers vs. Ravens classic last Sunday night it came to him that the Celtics was the one NBA team that personified "Smash-Mouth Basketball" not dirty or cheap-shot artists, just hard nosed physical basketball."

Vaughan continues, "the Detroit Pistons of 3-4 years ago was that team but they are not like that anymore. San Antonio plays good defense but its not as physical as Boston's. The Lakers are close but the Celtics are the best".

The Celtics new nickname "C-Green Smash Machine" pays homage to the physical, ball-control on offense, and intensity that the entire team plays with. Coach Doc Rivers has taken some notes from New England Patriots head-coach Bill Belichick.

Point guard Rajon Rondo on offense is like a 240 pound running-back that controls the game with power running between the tackles. He runs the C's engine and can dominate the game without scoring. He leads the league in assists (14.1apg.) like a big-back that leads the league in rushing.

On defense he leads the NBA in steals, plays the passing lanes better than anyone, and is one the 3 best on-the-ball defenders in the game.

The Celtics play the best overall team defense polled by NBA general managers around the league before the start of the 2010-11 season (Celtics 75%, Lakers 10.7%, and Orlando 7.1%). They have been able to shut-down the Miami Heat twice this season. The Heat added LeBron James and Chris Bosh to their roster and haven't fared well against the Celtics losing both games.

Dwight Howard is regarded as the best individual defensive player in the league, but this about total team defense and style of play.

Kevin Garnett has the intensity of a Ray Lewis when he's out on the court. Rajon Rondo is a Troy Polamalu or Ed Reed.

The "C-Green Smash Machine" next game is Wednesday December 8th at home vs. the Denver Nuggets it would be a great time to reveal the new nickname in front of the home crowd and a ESPN nationally televised audience.

New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie prior to the start of the season said that the Jets were the "Miami Heat of the NFL." After last nights 45-3 butt-kicking by the Patriots. He might want to change that to the "Celtics of the NFL" they wear green and play "Smash Mouth Ball" just like the Jets.

Profanity is way to show that you can't get your point across and a lack of education. This is not how we educate our children on how to express their emotions. Remember this "the empty barrel makes the most noise"!
