Brady Hoke is bringing the swagger back to Michigan Football
Brady Hoke towered over the podium, looked the media in the eye and said, “This might sound arrogant. If it is, it is. But we are Michigan. We are the winningest program in the history of college football.”
Arrogant? Perhaps. Is this the attitude that Michigan's coach needs? Exactly.
Swagger is making a comeback in Ann Arbor, and it's being brought back by Michigan's new head coach of their Varsity Football Team. Brady Hoke is large in stature, charismatic in presence, and has a larger-than-life persona that is breathing new energy into Schembechler Hall.
There's this buzz in the air about Michigan Football, a buzz thatt hasn't been so strong in a very long time. Hoke's presence both on the practice field and out on the recruiting trail have been game-changers for the University's program.
What might be most impressive is Hoke's first recruiting class which was ranked second in the nation by Rivals.com with a stacked group of 3 and 4 star blue-chippers. Hoke is making believers out of top prospects with the way he preaches about the greatness of Michigan's tradition, and how those that join his program will be part of bringing it back to national prominence once again.
Brady Hoke has given Michigan fans new hope. His swagger carries over not only to the players, but the fans and followers of Michigan. If that can translate to a Michigan team that comes out with more confidence and toughness this year, it will be sight for sore eyes.
