Brandon Kelly Threw a Hot Dog at Tiger Woods at the 2011 Frys.com Open Because He Liked the Movie Drive. Huh? Here's a Brandon Kelly Photo

Meet Brandon Kelly. He thought it was a good idea to throw a hot dog at Tiger Woods during the 2011 Frys.com Open last weekend.

Why would anybody throw a hot dog at Tiger Woods? Because of the movie Drive, of course.

Brandon Kelly talked to a local newspaper about his Tiger Woods hot dog attack.

He told the Santa Rose Press Democrat that the movie starring Ryan Gosling inspired him to throw a weiner at Woods.

"I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie ‘Drive,'" Kelly said. "As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, ‘I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger.'"

We don't what it is about Drive that makes people nuts. Last week, a person in Michigan decided to sue the producers of Drive because the trailer led her to believe that it was a 'Fast and the Furious'-style action movie rather than a dark revenge fantasy.

To quote Lionel Hutz, "this is the most blatant case of fraudulent advertising since my suit against the film, “The Never-Ending Story.”

First we have a frivolous lawsuit, now we have a guy throwing perfectly edible meat at a millionaire golfer because Ryan Gosling wore an awesome satin jacket with a scorpion on the back of it.

We saw Drive the other day and all it inspired us to do was listen to brooding Euro-synth pop for a couple of days.
