Brett Favre Madden 10 Update on Aug. 19: Favre Gets 82 Rating

Now that Brett Favre has signed with the Minnesota Vikings, the real question on a lot of people's mind is: when will Favre be available on EA's Madden 10 and what will his rating be? Well, it didn't take long for the folks at EA Sports to come up with an answer.
Brett Favre, not to mention Michael Vick, will be included in an August 19 Madden '10 roster update via XBox Live.
EA spokeperson Rob Semsey told the Chicago Sun-Times that Favre will have an overall rating of 82. EA has even released a Brett Favre Madden '10 screen cap.
Michael Vick will have a 73 rating, a far cry from the days when Vick scored a 90 in Madden '08.

You guys are stupid and don't understand the NFL that much if you're dogging Brett Favre. He is still able to play and wanted to for Green Bay they said no. He then wanted to go to the Vikings last year to play and Green Bay blocked it and he went to the Jets. After he is all said and done there he has a chance to do something he wanted to do for 2 years now and that's play for a Super Bowl team. I guess if that makes him a moron so be it but come Super Bowl time the Vikings will be there and you'll still be a loser working and watching games from your couch so deal with it.

I do agree that favre is a competitor and wants to be on a super bowl caliber team. I am a big Brett Favre fan. But I also think that he should not have waited until training camp is halfway over before he joins the team. He did the same thing for the Jets. If he wants to win that bad then he should put in the same amount of work as every other player. I hope Favre does good and the Vikings have a great season, but I also think he could have handled the situation a little bit better.
