Stories of a so-called Brett Favre nude photo have been circulating since August when Deadspin published a story that claimed Favre sent a nude photo of himself to sideline reporter Jenn Sterger.

After a brief media whirlwind, the Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger sexting scandal lay dormant. On Wednesday, Deadspin revisited the story, suggesting that a New York Jets staffer may have acted as a liaison between Favre and Sterger. The Deadspin story also featured what sounds like a voicemail from Favre to Sterger.

There was plenty of speculation that the Brett Favre nude photos would finally see the light of day on Thursday, Oct. 7 and Deadspin didn't let us down.
