NY Jets quarterback Brett Favre insisted Wednesday that his retirement will stick this time. Just over a year ago the 39 year old retired from the Green Bay Packers only to return this season as a New York Jet. He  led the them to a 9-7 season and missed the playoffs in the last week of the regular season.

"It's been a wonderful career, I couldn't ask for anything more," Favre said during a media conference call on Wednesday evening. "It was worth a shot for me to go to New York. I wish I could've played better down the stretch. I didn't.

"It's time to leave."

The future hall of famer did leave several lasting impressions on the league including records for career touchdown passes (464), passing yards (65, 127), completions (5,720), and interceptions (310). Favre also won three MVP's and a Super Bowl title in 1997.
