Australia won the series 2-0 with Lee taking an impressive five wickets for 104 runs, the first time he has done this since the tour of West Indies.

Brendon McCullum was the top scorer for the New Zealand team, scoring 84 runs not out.

The match finished shortly after the tea break, when Chris Martin was bowled by Johnson to get his second duck for the match. The final score for the kiwis 2nd innings was 10/203, which means they were defeated by an innings and 62 runs.

Brad Haddin was named the man of the match for scoring 168 and Michael Clarke is the man of the series.

The Australian team will now have to prepare for the match against South Africa in Perth on December 17th.

great performance by brett lee, but the outcome of the test was obvious from the start if the tour. Australia to win the series winning every game. New Zealand are improving but lack top class international players. They are also over reliant on mccullum, vettori, oram.
