Brian Cushing Before and After Pictures: Tested Positive for HCG
Brian Cushing Before and After Photos Reveal Effects of HGC?
Brian Cushing, a linebacker for the Houston Texans has been suspended for the first four games of next season after testing positive for HCG.
HCG is a fertility drug and is on the NFL's banned substance list according to the Associated Press. HCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin and although is called a 'naturally occurring peptide hormone', it is not allowed to be used by the players in the NFL and can be used in conjunction with steroids.
If you look at these before and after pictures of Brian Cushing, it is pretty easy to see that HCG really did have some affect on his body, giving him much more muscle mass and more definition.
Not only does Brian Cushing have to sit out four games, but he also loses out on money and damages his reputation. He will also be stripped of his 2009 Defensive Rookie of the Year award, which was given to him by the Associated Press.
He won the AP's NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honor in January for outstanding on-field performance. The AP is taking a revote for the award, plus for All-Pro outside linebacker.
He will be allowed in the revote but this is the first time something like this has happened.
Brian Cushing has denied that he did anything wrong and Bob McNair who owns the Houston Texans is angry because the NFL gave the team no warning they were considering a suspension for Cushing.
