Brock Lesnar Apology: UFC Ring Bravado Leads to Press Room Regret
In the ring after his UFC 100 Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir win the former WWE wrestler was all bravado and tough talk, even going so far as to flip the bird to fans. After some very un-sportsman-like behavior and a refusal to shake hands with his defeated opponent while in the ring, Brock Lesnar was quick to issue an apology in the after match press room.
"First, I want to apologize. I acted very unprofessionally after the fight. I'm a sore loser, OK. I don't like to get beat. I believe that first bout between Frank and me, I gave that fight to him," Brock Lesnar told the press to justify his bad behavior towards his opponent, Frank Mir, after his re-match win at UFC 100.
Brock Lesnar also issued an apology to UFC sponsor Bud Light who he slammed in his victory interview by plugging competitor Coors Light, "because Bud Light don't pay me nothing." In that portion of his multi-faceted apology Brock Lesnar explained, "I'm used to selling pay-per-view tickets. I came from a business that was purely entertainment. Dana (White) came in and we had a whip-the-dog session. I apologize."

UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar seems to be known just as well for his bad attitude and foul comments as he is for his athletic ability. Lesnar's evil supervillain character gained him much notoriety in the WWE, but has it crossed over into the UFC? The big question on so many MMA fans minds lately has been, "is this an act?"
Coming off his UFC 100 victory over Frank Mir, Lesnar went on to add to his famous list of comments:
“Frank Mir had a horseshoe up his ass. I told him that a year ago. I pulled it out of him and beat him over the head with it. I’m going to drink a Coors Light. That’s right a Coors. Bud Light don’t pay me nothing. I may even get on top of my wife tonight.”
Soon after, at the post-fight press conference, Lesnar was forced to eat his words.

This guy is an ill-tempered moron. He showed his true colors at UFC 100, and nothing he says now is going to make it better. Did he apologize for his condescending and ungentlemanly comment about his wife? The UFC doesn't need this animal and should never have let him in. I give him a year before he's drummed out like Tito Ortiz.
