In a first round victory Bob and Mike beat the Ratiwatanas brothers, Thai duo Sanchai and Sonchat Ratiwatana 6-0, 6-3.

This historic match was the first for two sets of twins to play against each other at ATP level.

The Bryan's are competing to win their first title in San Jose at the ATP World tour 250 tennis. In 2008, they were defeated by Scott Lipsky and David Martin.
Next round the Bryan's will compete with  Rohan BOPANNA (IND) / Jarkko NIEMINEN (FIN).
