As you know, Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison will be free agents in
the offseason. Gil has one more year [at almost $13 million] left on
his contract, but he says he’s opting out and there is, as yet, no
reason to think his injury will change that fact. Meanwhile, Jamison’s
gigantic contract [over $16 million this year] finally comes to an end
next summer.
