Play continued on Saturday with two of the top teams winning their games.  Hamburg defeated Freiburg 2-0 and Bayer 04 Leverkusen defeated Mainz 4-2.

Sunday saw three matches with Schalke 04 also contending for top spot defeating Nuernberg by only one goal.  Unfortunately Nuernberg is fighting to avoid relegation.
