Kyle Busch Runs Away With Bristol Win

Kyle Busch is driving in a domination mode as of late.

Busch has now won a race in at least one of NASCAR's top three series every weekend this season. It started with a victory in the non-points qualifying race at Daytona and followed with wins in the Truck and Nationwide Series at California, the Cup race at Las Vegas, and the Nationwide race at Atlanta.

He could be the winning-est driver at this point in the 2009 season in ANY motorsports racing series anywhere, save someone's personal backyard go-kart track.

"Wild Thing" at Bristol: Busch dominant in Food City 500 win

Bristol, TN (Sports Network) - Kyle Busch led 378 of 500 laps and easily held off his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin in a green-white-checkered finish to win Sunday's Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Busch recorded his second Sprint Cup Series victory of the season and the 14th of his career. His first Bristol win came two years ago when took the checkered flag for NASCAR's first Car of Tomorrow race.

The 500-lap race went into over time after JGR driver Joey Logano blew an engine in the closing laps.

Hamlin finished second, followed by Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Kasey Kahne.

The kid is good, no doubt about it.  But, he still needs to get his emotions under control a bit more. A good example: parking his car in turn 3 after Saturday's race and stomping off through the pedestrian tunnel.
