The Calgary Flames cut their roster by three in order to fall to league requirements for maximum roster players before their season-opener date with Vancouver. Lost are hefty salaries and two defencemen. Warrener, Lundmark, Eriksson hit waivers today, and while any team can pick them up (including salary), they`ll likely end up in the minors.
