365 days! Many Chinese are both honored and excited to see China hosting the Olympic Games in August 2008. How others will see China?
Maybe most people are waiting to see the opening ceremony, the competitions, the joy and tear of the athletes. However, for the whole world, through the eyes of visitors and journalists, they will see how China improves over the years apart from having the ability to build new infrastructures and facilities. Ultimately, visitors' impression will be based upon their interactions with the people in China, the pollution, the law and order, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, etc. I hope that China will organize a marvelous Olympic Games and demonstrate to the world that she is a great country, is improving in civil liberty and rule of law in addition to economic success.
These are my favorite games in the Beijing Olympics: table tennis, women's volleyball, men's basketball and certainly ........ men's 110m hurdles.
