Canada defeated the United States 3 to 2 with the winning goal
coming at 7:40 of overtime after the US team tied the game at 2-2
in the last minute of regulation play with 25 seconds to play.,
Sidney Crosby scored the winning goal.Zach Parise had scored
with 25 seconds left to play to tie the game.This was the second
overtime in the gold medal men's hockey Olympicgames. With 7:10
to play in the first period Canada took the lead on agoal by Jonathan
Toews.Canada took a 2-0 lead in the second period ona goal by Corey
Perry.The United States scored its first goal later in the second period,
scored by Ryan Kesler\.
