Canadian Olympic torches are cropping up on  e-bay, the online auction site. The first came from a torch bearer in Greece who did a portion of the 2010 Torch Relay and an another from a man in British Columbia.

Selling Olympic memorabilia is common on e-bay with everything from medal, to torches, to pins being hawked.

Andrea Shaw the Vice-president of Sponsorship for VANOC told the CBC that,

"Once you've run with that torch in your hands and been part of the flame and part of igniting the country ... I certainly can't imagine selling a piece of history, especially once you've been part of it," she said.

So far, the torches seem to be holding interest despite a pretty hefty price tag. Olympic organizers say the Torches have been disabled so lighting cigars is not an option for would be purchasers.

The seller on e-bay or well on their way to making a profit runners can buy the torches for $350 after their run. Bombardier has made a total of 12,000 torches
