Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced on Wednesdays the names of 38 young men invited to take part in Canada’s National Junior selection camp slated for SBP Arena in Ottawa, Ontario and the Robert-Guertin Arena in Gatineau, Quebec for five days beginning Thursday December 11th.

Leading the way as the lists likely front runners, four gold medalists from the 2008 IIHF World Hockey Championship, defencman Thomas Hickey, Calgary, Alberta (Seattle-WHL) and PK Subban, Toronto, Ontario (Belleville-OHL) as well as forwards Zach Boychuck, Airdrie, Alberta (Lethbridge-WHL) and sure fire 2009 first overall selection John Tavares Oakville, Ontario (Oshawa-OHL).

The list is also made up of 31 first or second round NHL draft picks, 18 boys under nineteen and, 18 WHL players plus four US college recruits
