So here we are now.Come near to the end of Champions League T20 2011 season. In the next game we will have Cape Cobras vs Trinidad & Tobago. It will be a crucial group A game and that will decide who will be moving up into the semi-finals. At this situation it seems like Whoever wins today moves into the semi-final. It will be very important game for boh the sides and it would be very much interesting to see how this game goes on for both of them.
The match will be scheduled to play on 10:00 GMT Local Time . Watch live streaming of the match Click here (note the streaming will only be active During the match )And To watch highlights after the match Click hereThe teams analysis :
Cape Cobras, who are currently on the 3rd spot with 3 points in there pocket. If they wins this game then they are sure of qualifying up further as they have very good Net Rate at the moment and they can easily overcome the Mumbai Indians side on the first spot.
The Cape Cobras are one of the many teams battling for that 2nd spot that will allow them to book a semi-final spot. Cape need to win this match or else they are out but even a win might not secure a victory unless New South Wales lose to Chennai. They don’t want to get too far ahead of themselves and not think that this will be an easy match for them. The talent this Cape team has would make the feel confident as they have some great batsman and great bowlers. Justin Ontong is a batsman who can also bowl a bit for Cape and it may be good or bad but he hasn’t featured for too long when he comes out with a bat and many have seen him in previous versions of this tournament and know he is feared by opposition bowlers. The bowling has also been great for Cape but they will need to exploit the Trinidad middle order and get the first three out in Barath, Simmons and Bravo. The Cape Cobras will need to hold chances against Trinidad as Cape would like to chase something low as Trinidad are very economical.
Trinidad & Tobago, are currently one spot below then Cobras. If they win this game then also it would be hard for them to move into the semi finals as because they just have 2 points and there NRR is not so good. They will need to win this game by a big margin if they wish to move up and that does not seem to be possible here as because the Cape Cobras side are looking very good.
Trinidad had a terrible start to this group stage but now they somewhere have a slight chance to edge through to the semi-finals. They are the underdogs definitely but they were the underdogs against Chennai and blew them out of the water. The batting has been quite poor from Trinidad batsman but the bowling has stood strong to restrict many of their opponents to low totals. The spinners continue to impress and although they had the added assistance of bowling on the Chennai pitch they have been great all tournament with Badree and Narine both making a name for themselves for keeping the runs low. Darren Ganga still isn’t able to perform at the high stage but that needs to turn around and needs to step up with the bat as he is putting a lot of pressure on his colleagues. It will be crucial to tie down Gibbs, Levi and Duminy and if they manage to dismiss them cheaply they’re in for a very good shot for a semi-final spot.
