DRAMATICO ACCIDENTE NASCAR MEXICO CARLOS PARDO

Driver Carlos Pardo was killed in a crash during the final laps of a NASCAR race in Puebla, Mexico.

During the 97th lap, Pardo was struck by a competitor from behind and skidded sideways into a wall at an estimated 120 mph.

After the accident, Carlos Pardo was removed from the wreckage and sent by helicopter to hospital. He died 45 minutes later.

Thank you for posting these tragic news, I didn't know about this.

The driver's car hit the barrier at a sharp angle. It is too bad that the barrier, apparently a wall set up for the pit stops, was there.  The accident was made worse by the barrier wall.
