It's Boozer verses Boozer in Miami! Utah Jazz Forward Carlos Boozer is seeking a divorce from his wife of six years, Cindy Boozer. Boozer filed for divorce in a Miami court Thursday and is asking for shared custody of the couple's 3 young children.

The cause of the divorce is unclear but Carlos Boozer in his petition Carlos Boozer stated that the marriage could not be saved. He is willing to pay support for his children and will not fight that in the petition.

Court documents filed Thursday call the marriage between Boozer and his wife, Cindy, "irretrievably broken." Boozer says the couple's home in Miami is for sale. The Jazz star also wants rights to a second home they own in Salt Lake City.

The couple has twin 19-month-olds and a 2-year-old child. Boozer seeks shared child custody and is willing to pay child support.

Florida is a no-fault divorce state, meaning a divorce does not require proof of any wrongdoing.
