Sri Lanka today created the hole from themselves and lose the must-win game making easy for India to go into finals by winning a superb match at Hobart by 7 Wickets. Sri Lanka skid from a solid postion 1 for 72 to a struggling postion of 7 for 93, blowing their chances away in the wind. A struggling fifty by Chamara Kapugedera avoided a shameful tota but wasnt enough to safe the match.

For India Chasing 180 wasnt tough at any point with Sachin and Gambhir in terrfic touch today. For Gautam this series is special,he is in very good touch and score another superb fifty today showing that he is not tried of such tight schedule. Sri Lanka not have to go to Melbourne to play last league match which will be like a parctice match for Aussies.

Today weather was overcast and it looked like it would rain but god was in good mood the rain didnt interrupted the play at all. With overcast situation Dhoni decided to take on fielding first but his decision looked a bit crtic as Sri lanka started in streaming and solid stand. With 180 runs to make India started with strong determination.Uthappa for the first time was sent to open the innings but the experiment failed and it looke like that India will be in trouble chasing a easy score of 180 runs. But Sachin first time in series looked comfortable and looked like full determined .He shutted his critics by making his superb fifty plus Gambhir too gave him full support.When it looked like Sachin will be making a glorious Hundred ,his march was stopped by Muralitharan but India till that time was in solid state .Then Yuvraj too showed his skill and India advance to comfortable win taking a bonus point too. Young Praveen Kumar was awarded man of the match for his superb Bowling.India now advances to Finals were they will take on Australia and series finale will be exciting one to watch.
