Sri Lanka today finished their Series with a big suprise,They gave Australia a big setback thrashing their confidence apart.Sri Lanka won by 13 runs and destroyed Australian pride to much extent. No one imagine that when GIlchrist and Hopes were batting.They Both open blastingly and scored 105 runs in 15 overs. But then luck changed it path ,It was Murali's Dosra which worked today perfectly and got breakthrough in form of hopes and Australia lost 6 wickets for 16 runs.Brett Lee and Nathen both tried their best but Sri Lanka won in the end and its like a consolation win.

Match got much interested in the end when in last 2 overs Australia required 14 runs and everybody got suprised when Mahilla gave bowl to jayasuriya. Jayasuriya bowling is superb and he kept the confidence of Capatin on top priority and he gave all Sri lankan viewers to joy. Only Adam Gilchrist and Hopes looked to love Sri Lankan attack today,noone else looked to overcome Sri Lankan bowling attack . Ricky,Hogg, and Symonds all looked helpless and lost their wicket without adding runs to board. Lee and Nathen both took Australia close to target.Adam scoredsparking 83 from 50 balls,if he had stayed it would have been easer for Australia to win but all things which we wishes doesnt come true.

Today in afternoon,Sri Lanka won the toss and for the first time in this series Australia got to bowl in first innings. Sri lankan batting looked to follow the same path as they had been doing in this series. Sri Lanka lost couple wickets in first few overs and was struggling with 4 for 61. But Jayawardne and Dishan looked in full control ,they not only stopped the wicket falling but also keep building good partnership. Jayawardne scored a superb and needed fifty but wasnt able to convert into a glorious one and was out on Hogg bowling. Dishan looked not disturb and continue his work on the ground .He too reached a superb fifty and helped Sri Lanka to give Aussie a target of 222 runs as Sri Lanka got all out for 221 in full 50 overs. Man of the match is awarded to Adam GIlchrist for his blasting innins which is the last one for MCG . Everyone will be rembering it for coming years.
