India winning the Twenty20 world championship plus taken Australia with full energy inspite losing home series, beating Pakistan in ODI as well as Test Series  and putting aussies in full trouble in Test Series makes  this season of India a good one whereas Sri Lanka had ups and down like losing Test Series against Australia 2-0 , England beated them in ODI series 3-2 and many other things put India ahead of Sri Lanka But Experience gives Sri Lanka the edge.

Jayawardene said that uptill now none of the teams are favourite for this series and we will have to play consistenet to make it through the best of three finals in early of March. "Australia can be favourites but the same applies to them. It's going to be a tough, interesting series" said Jayawardene before going for their first match in series. He also added that he dont look back to loss they got here few days back and will be making a fresh and good start in this series. Asking how they are taking India he said that with young and inexperienced side India still is the tough team to beat and they will have to play at their best . He thinks that Indian team is capable of beating any side , Zaheer's experience not there with Indian team might give his team a chance to put troubles for Indian team.

With mix performance in warm up matches Jayawardene is happy with his boys and will be eagerly looking for he match on Tuesday. With Indian team loking back to their performance will be looking how to stablize and strong their middle order. they will be looking over Yuvraj to comeback and make the middle order strong. Middle order really is the big trouble for India as Middle order wasnt able to stand against Australian Bowling attack and shattered like Playing Card Palace goes down.

Dhoni said that he will be looking over this situation with more concern and was happy with Bowlers performances which were quite impressive and made the game exciting at one time but rain made the game washed away .Dhoni is pretty much waiting for the tuesday and will be looking over batsmen to do their best and make this game really interested one .
