The problem starts from the openers. No one except Adam Gilchrist plaed so superbly so as to take innings in solid state. Sachin,Sehwag and Hayden all failed to exploit the new ball. There innings in thiss series is not impressive at all. The problem gets more complicated as we approach Middle order ,especially Australian middle order which was the strongest point of their team now becoming weakest problem. Ricky and Andrew both donot look in comfort playing any bowling attack especially fast bowlers, Ponting has an average of 10.66 while Symonds has made 42 in six games at 8.40.

India had slight advantage then Australia as India middle order is operating functionally.Irfan,Rohit and Gambhir shown the signs of struggle ,they are now becoming more solid and are playing keeping their head calm and cool. Some mistake still be done by them and as time passes they might overcome them. For Australia one thing goes in favour that is toss as Bowlers knows what is the total they have to defence and Australia relying mostly on their bowling department.

This series just becoming indiviual performance overcoming full team efforts.Single person doing some extraordinary efforts,staying in middle and rescuing his team and making team to stay in good postion.IF Dhoni is the one for India, Clarke and Hussey are for Australia.

Dhoni is pretty much happy with his team form.He thinks that batting problem is not big issue for his team.He said that if we play good cricket then we wil win . He happily said that most of his batsmen are ready to come in any position which benefits the team most.

Hopes the all-rounder from Australia thinks that its not poor batting that is problem, its slow pitches wher the matches are played. "The batsmen are not scoring a lot of runs given the conditions we are
playing in where some of the pitches are low and slow," Hopes said. He aded inspite we are in finals we will going to take the sunday match as new challenge and will be playing with all our efforts. 

Meanwhile, India need to work out whether to continue the five-bowler
theory the Indians utilised in their last two games or go with an extra
batsman.Dhoni hadnt opened his card till now and said that he will look to situation before making last decision,India might opt Sehwag in team in place of Praveen Kumar. From Australian side there will be one change Brett Lee coming back after a two-game break, Mitchell Johnson is likely to sit out.
