Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson, aka Chad Ochocinco, appears to have gotten himself a face tattoo. Or did he?

The artist formerly known as Chad Johnson recently release two photos via his Twitter account revealing a set of tattoos. The tattoo on the left side of his face looks like a birthmark at first, but is actually a tattoo of Florida, Ochocinco's home state. On the right side is a tattoo of two crosses. Ochocinco also allegedly has the letters 'OC' tattooed between his eyes.

Earlier today, however, Ochocinco stated that the tattoos were fake, a practical joke played on all those haters out there obsessed with him.

The entire twitt world and media outlets got punked, that was my twitt joke from yesterday, they follow I'll have fun with it.
All those who were calling me stupid for the face tatts, who"s stupid now, HATERS!!!!!! Get a sense of humor or stop following!

Well played, sir. Well played.
