Chad Ocho Cinco Tries To Bribe Ref With $1

It looks like Chad Ochocinco is at it again. The Bengals wide receiver seemed to be having a little fun with refs when he tried to hand them a dollar bill, presumably to reverse a call in his favor. How much did the artist formerly known as Chad Johnson offer for his bribe? The princely sum of $1.

So what brought on the Chad Ochocinco bribe? In the third quarter of the game between the Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens, Ochocinco caught a 15-yard pass near the sideline. The side judge ruled that Ochocinco's catch was inbounds, but the Ravens challenged the call. As the play was being reviewed, Chad Ochocinco jokingly tried to bribe one of the refs, trying to slip him a dollar bill. The official tries to ignore Ochocinco, perhaps because he didn't want any part of Ochocinco's joke bribe.

Of course, the real question is where did Chad Ochocinco get a dollar bill on the field? Does he just keep money on him during the game? It's not like NFL uniforms have a lot of pockets. Whatever the case, here is the Chad Ochocinco bribe video.

His feet were clearly in (both feet touched inside the line) before he stepped out of bounds. I certainly hope he and the Bengals won the review.  His antics were silly...shades of Terrell Owens.  He should just stick to playing the game, as he's talented. Chad Ochocinco, if you read this, please cut the antics out.

caj1, I disagree. Terrell Owens is an athletic but untalented egocentric moron. Chad Ochocinco is a talented athlete and a funny self-promoter. He always finds a way to get into the headlines, and he makes the week between Sundays more interesting. I appreciate his antics and I respect him as a player. From all appearances, he gets along well with teammates and is a team player with a knack for self-promotion. Like TO, he might crave the attention, but he is NOT a selfish "me me me" receiver like TO, and is much much more talented. I agree that he got both feet in, though.

ktro,  I appreciated reading your point of view and am glad to know that Chad Ochocinco is liked by his teammates.  In Phila., TO had mixed success as an Eagle.  His career in Buffalo isn't going too well this fall.

I have an idea about the recent Chad Johnson fine ($20,000 for the dollar bill).  I think that Bengals fans that attend the next home game should wave a dollar bill as the team is entering the field and this money should later to be donated to a charity of Chad Johnson's choice. GO BENGALS!!!!

Thats a great idea Penny.  I enjoy watching Ochocino play!! It's a game!!! It's suppose to be fun! We all watch it for the entertainment value.  If you're anything like me then you enjoy behind the scenes as much as I do watching the actual games.  Check out Hard Knocks on HBO, where they follow the Bengals through the pre-season Chad is not only funny but a good guy.  I don't think he should be compared to T.O. at all.  T.O. is a virus and brings down the moral of any team.  Ochocinco is more like Shannon Sharpe, a smack talker and practical joker.
