China training 200,000 cheerleaders for the Games

China is definitely geared up for the games. They have a man accupuncturing himself 2008 times in the spirit of the games and now they are training 200,000 cheerleaders to "spirit" up the events and games. I am all for them trying to make this year's olympics the best ever. Having the athletes compete at a packed house with cheerleaders livening up the events and hyping up the crowd is great. Sounds like a good idea to me!
China is so excited about hosting the Olympics. I’ve heard rumors that they created a huge topiary garden and are training nearly 200,000 cheerleaders to help boost the crowd’s enthusiasm in the numerous venues where the competitions will be held. Though I wouldn’t put anything past them (they are cleaning up smog, algae and probably those pesky locusts in record time) I could only find proof that the New England Patriots’ Cheerleaders are helping to train 200 bouncy bubbly Chinese ladies.

This is not correct. Ther are 200.000 volunteers and 600 cheerleaders. More than enough
