Chinese Making U.S. Olympic Team Uniforms by BMCWrites

Reuters reports today that Chinese tailors are working overtime to produce more than 1,800 Ralph Lauren-designed uniforms for members of the U.S. Olympic Team in time for next month’s opening ceremonies in Beijing. After watching Reuters’ video report (below right) on the matter, I was left wondering why American tailors were not given the opportunity to craft the uniforms. For answers, I e-mailed the U.S. Olympic Committee Public Affairs staff to find out why American tailors weren’t used.

Check back soon to see how the USOC Public Affairs staff responds to my inquiry.

If you would like to ask USOC officials the same question, visit the USOC Pressbox, click on the “USOC Information” icon in the left sidebar and then click on “Contact Us.” There, you’ll find a form you can fill out.

When you get an answer, compare it to the one I get and, especially if it’s different, please share it with other readers of this blog by adding it to the comments section below.

I am also not feeling good about this

America should now realise one thing that these little things can prevent the loss of their own self-esteem.
