The team is still grieving over the loss of their teammate, who they say was on his way to getting his life together and his upcoming marriage to Loleini was going to be an even happier time for him. However, there have been reports today that Chris Henry was aggravated by the wedding costs and that the couple fought over the rising prices.

Domata Peko and the other Bengals praised Loleini for the order she brought to Henry's life however.

It’s a curveball to everybody,” said Peko, the defensive tackle and a captain. "I just pray for his mom and his family and for Loleini’s family, and hope everything works out. Only they know what really happened. All I know is we lost Chris and when you lose a good friend like that it’s going to hurt.”

Chad Ochocinco wore number 15 during Thursday's practice at Paul Brown Stadium, Chris Henry's number, and he has already spoken out on Twitter and YouTube about his departed friend.

The team plans to honor Henry on Sunday as well at their game against San Diego by wearing a helmet decal with Chris Henry's number and the coaches will wear pins.

More Chris Henry funeral details will be forthcoming when they are finalized.

Kimuel

I am deeply saddened by the lost of this talented, young man. I pray for not only his family, but his fiance's family as well. It's devastating to know that he won't be present in the lives of his children. I know he'll be there in spirit, but it's difficult to grasp that he's gone to a better place. Well, I pray that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. I watched some old footage of him and he was talking about how his faith in the Lord enable him to get through trials and tribulations. His memory and legacy will on in me and his loved ones forever. Rest in Peace Slim. Love-Kimue!

Parent of Athlete

As a parent of a top high school athletic prospect, this tragic event hit home. I preach to my son everyday about the intentions of some people he has and will encounter, particularly women. I'm so tired of these young black athletes gettting tangled up with these ghetto hoochies. And I mean ghetto hoochies without regards for their skin color. Black, White, Asian, South Pacific, etc. It makes no difference what race, but rather how they conduct themselves. Why would you WANT a woman who refers to herself as a "Gangsta", and who can out drink and out cuss a sailor? Not lady-like at all. And definitely not marriage material. They dress half naked and think it's cute, but get extremely upset if you call them what they look like! They are only after what these guys can give them...money and possessions. Mr. Henry's outcome was tragic, but other young men should take heed and learn from this. During my era, my friends and I had a code that we lived by: "Nice breast and a nice butt are not all that should define the woman you bring home to Mom. You can't turn a HO into a housewife." Ask yourself this simple question, "If I worked for McDonald's, would she even give me the time of day?" If the answer is NO, or you're not sure, save yourself a load of problems and walk away from her!!!!
