Leeds are looking much better for a play off place at the moment after a good run, Kilkenny,  Becchio and Snodgrass the scorers for Leeds, but Crewe came back to give them a scare. Leeds sit in 5th spot, 2nd is probably not possible now but with a bit of a cushion from Tranmere and Oldham the playoffs look more likley.

Leeds scored three first-half goals and survived a second-half fightback to secure their first away win since January against 10-man Crewe.

Crewe's Billy Jones saw red for dissent after being booked before Neil Kilkenny drilled in Leeds opener from 25 yards.

Luciano Becchio headed in and Robert Snodgrass ran clear to add a third as Leeds capitalised on their advantage.

Julian Baudet headed in from a corner and Tom Pope stooped to nod in for Crewe but Leeds held on for the win.
