Now that the college football betting season is heading into its fifth week of play, check out how I have stacked up the best ‘over’ teams in the country through four weeks…

1: Auburn Tigers (4-0) (LW: 2) The Tigers still can't figure out how to stop anybody, but their offense just continues to rack up touchdown after touchdown. Giving up 30 points to a lousy Ball State offense was just inexcusable, even though dropping 54 was once again quite impressive. OC Gus Malzahn has Auburn ranked in the Top-5 in the country in total yards, rushing, and points per game.

Up Next: Away @ Tennessee

2: West Virginia Mountaineers (2-0) (LW: 5) West Virginia took a week off to lick their wounds from their beat down suffered at Auburn two weeks ago. RB Noel Devine will look to get back on track this week against a porous Colorado 'D'.

Up Next: Home vs. Colorado

3: Michigan State Spartans (3-0) (LW: 8) MSU's defense just continues to struggle and struggle mightily. It's not that Wisconsin, Notre Dame, and Central Michigan have these can't miss offenses either. Giving up 100 points in those three games in just not acceptable. Imagine how much Michigan HC Rich Rodriguez is licking his chops right now.

Up Next: Home vs. Michigan

4: Duke Blue Devils (3-0) (LW: 9) The Dookies pounded NC-Central into submission last week to easily push the game past the 'total' for their third straight 'over' contest to start the season. It's going to be a lot harder producing points against a V-Tech team that is playing fantastic defense right now.

Up Next: Home vs. Virginia Tech

5: Utah State Aggies (2-0-1) (LW: 14) When you rank 117th in the country in total defense, 114th against the pass, and 108th against the rush, it's easy to see how you can play a lot of 'over' contests. QB Max Hall has to be thinking about padding some stats this week against the Aggies.

Up Next: Home vs. BYU

6: Virginia Cavaliers (2-0) (LW: 10) Defense is apparently completely optional for the Cavs this season. They've allowed 31.0 points per game and they haven't faced a BCS-conference foe yet. This is going to be an ugly, ugly season in Charlottesville.

Up Next: Away @ North Carolina

7: California Golden Bears (3-1) (LW: 1) So much for the Golden Bears... After getting dismantled by Oregon, not only is Cal’s national title hopes gone, but so, too are the Heisman Trophy chances of RB Jahvid Best. Things are really probably only going to get worse this week when the angry Trojans come to town.

Up Next: Home vs. Southern California

8: Alabama Crimson Tide (3-1) (LW: 4) Don't blame Alabama's offense for the fact that last week's game against Arkansas didn't reach the 'total'. The Tide rolled up 425 yards and 35 points. Their defense is just phenomenal though, and there's a reason that this team is one of the best in college football.

Up Next: Away @ Kentucky

And the rest…

9: Maryland Terrapins (3-1) (LW: 3)

10: Wisconsin Badgers (3-1) (LW: NR)

11: Toledo Rockets (3-1) (LW: NR)

12: Wisconsin Badgers (3-1) (LW: NR)

13: North Carolina State Wolfpack (3-1) (LW: NR)

14: Rice Owls (3-1) (LW: NR)

15: BYU Cougars (3-1) (LW: NR)
