The Texas Longhorns and LSU Tigers are heading to a decisive Game 3 in the College World Series taking place in Omaha, Nebraska. The Longhorns baseball team won the second game of the 2009 College World Series 5-1 against the Tigers, evening the Texas vs. LSU matchup at one game apiece.

After struggling in relief in Game 1, freshman Longhorn Taylor Jungmann was stellar, allowing one run on hive hits.

Jungmann managed to play well despite the weather. While the weather during the College World Series was brutally hot--often topping out at more than 110 degrees--it cooled down considerably for Game 2. In fact, a storm hit Rosenblatt Stadium, causing a one-hour 46-minute rain delay.

Game 3 of the 2009 College World Series is set for Wednesday night at 7 pm EST.
