Australia won the toss and decided to bat first in the fourth and final Cricket Test against India which is being played at th Oval in Adelaide from January 24-28, 2012. See live scorecard.

Indian captain Sehwag said, it doesn't matter if India bat or bowl first, they have to "play well". He doesn't sound very convincing, though. India are playing the one spinner - R Ashwin, the offspinner, replaces medium-pacer Vinay Kumar. Watch live streaming.

Here's Australia's XI. Nathan Lyon is playing his first Test at home. His inclusion for Starc is the only change Australia have made.

When last reports came in, after 45 overs, Australia were 164 runs for the loss of three Wickets. Ricky Ponting was in ominous form and was batting at 73 runs.
