Many fans who like a good Cinderella story were cheering when VCU beat Kansas to make their way to the Final Four 2011.

The VCU Rams pulled off a massive upset by beating the top-ranked Kansas Jayhawks 71-61 to punch their ticket to the Final Four on April 2.

No doubt Kansas fans were crushed by the VCU loss. No one was more crushed than one fan who was shown during the broadcast crying. Some fans found it humorous since the crying Jayhawks fans was wearing a giant foam jayhawk head at the time. The sight of a man in foam costume crying was no doubt memorable.

Deadspin has learned that the name of the Sad Jayawk fan is Matt Rissien.
