Australia's born and bred won the gold for Freestyle Moguls in Torino; the million- dollar question is he really Australian???

NO, NO, and NO!

This flamboyant Lamborghini driving, connoisseur of bourgeois West Vancouver affluence was basically born and raised in West Vancouver, Vancouver and Whistler. He sulked after he got a silver in the Cypress Mountain Mogul event on his supposedly home turf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dale_Begg-Smith of West Vancouver.

He claims he will not talk to the media because he is a recluse- that he has to protect himself from his past Internet Spyware revenues-  http://www.ctvolympics.ca/news-centre/newsid=44826.html

Close and trusted sources tell me despite the fact he is an Olympian; he does not represent a true Canadian Olympian.

He is a disgrace to Vancouver and a disgrace to Canada who should return to the Cayman Islands where he launched his malicious business schemes for good.

The CTV Article seems overly harsh on Begg-Smith to me.  Holtby lost the court case, suggesting he was in the wrong and Begg-Smith were not.

What is more interesting is why Begg-Smith moved to Australia, and why he races under Australia's flag.

I agree that the business is questionable.  Anything in internet marketing and advertising is very grey — it's so hard to know what is legit and what is not.  And even if you do know exactly what an internet marketing business is and is not up to (which you probably do not) it is not clear what is and is not okay.

Wikipedia's article on Begg-Smith seems to be well-rounded clearly stating what is questionable but not known; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dale_Begg-Smith

It's also interesting that he won't speak to Canadian media — He may have something to hide, or maybe got burned by them in the past (like the CTV article).  His avoidance of CA media doesn't help for articles like CTV's though.

I have my own sources that I could prove even if I was sued for libel.
