To become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader you have to pass quizzes on Cowboys history, Texas culture and world affairs.

Here is why they get quizzed:

"We want our cheerleaders to be knowledgeable and well-spoken in interviews," says Cowboys cheerleading boss Kelli Finglass. "If they're not, it's a deal breaker."

Here are some of the questions they get quizzed on:

Q: Name the Six Flags of Texas.

Q: Name the two ex-Cowboys quarterbacks in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Q: Name a country that borders Iraq.

Q: Who is the governor of Texas?

Q: List three lean proteins.

Q: In how many Super Bowls have the Dallas Cowboys appeared?

I had no idea these cheerleaders had to know so much about football, Texas and world affairs. I thought they just had to look pretty, be flexible and know how to dance and cheer with a smile.

So for all those guys out there who consider cheerleaders ditsy airheads, think again.

Wow, I barely got 50 percent. I guess I don't have what it takes to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

Yeah, these are tough questions.  Personally, I think I got 1/6 right and that's only if Kuwait is the border of Iraq.

Although I seriously doubt these women would take these tests without major preparation.  And like most tests, there are prep courses you can take, and I wouldn't be all that surprised if there was something on the internet that help you prepare.
