The Dallas White Rock Marathon 2009 took place on Sunday, Dec. 13. The 40th edition of the Dallas White Rock Marathon was won by Edward Tabut. THe 26-year-old Kenyan finished the 26.-mile Dallas Marathon course in a time of 2 hours, 16 minutes and 53 seconds.

Second place went to Moses Kororia with a time of 2 hours, 20 minutes and 29 seconds. Khalid Enguady finished in 2:22:28 to take third place.

The women's division at the 2009 Dallas White Rock Marathon was won by Rose Jebet with a time of 2:48:21. Jenifer Graef took second, finishing in 2:52:38

An estimated 20,000 runners took part in the 2009 White Rock Marathon.
