Wednesday, September 28, 2011 turned out to be an amazing night of baseball. The evening featured four teams fighting for two playoff posts resulting in two extra-inning games. Perhaps nothing was more dramatic than Dan Johnson's home run that helped send the Tampa Bay Rays-New York Yankees game into extra innings.

The Dan Johnson home run capped a furious comeback that saw the Rays tie the game 7-7. To make things even more dramatic, the Dan Johnson homer came in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and 2 strikes.

It wasn't all drama, however. The home run ball sailed over the right field fence and nearly hit a fan in the groin. You can't ask for much more than that.
