A funny thing happened on the way to the London 2012 Olympics; Darya Klishina nude model and long jumper failed to make the team. Despite NBC showcasing Darya Klishina nude long jumper on their 2012 London Olympics website and despite being voted one of the sexiest Olympic athletes, on long jump day in London, England there will be no sign of Darya Klishina.

Londoners had a chance to see Darya Klishina at Wimbledon recently where she met with the world’s highest paid female athlete Maria Sharapova and Tiger’s old management company IMG but don’t expect to see her performing in the London 2012 Olympic long jump competition; Darya Klisina failed to make the team.

Darya Klishina is no Anna Kournikova. The 5’11” fashion model and long jumper Darya’s 7 meters 5 centimeters long jump in 2011 was the second longest jump in the world by a junior ever and that distance would have made the Russian Olympic long jump team easily. At 21 Darya Klishina nude model and long jump champion has already won the gold medal at the world youth championships and as a senior she won the European Indoor Championships. So how did Darya Klishina miss the team?

Well, in the qualifying she jumped less than 7 meters and finished fifth, well short of her personal best. Even so some of the Russian coaches wanted to send her to London but head athletic coach Valentin Maslakov said “Nyet.”

People have spoken about Darya’s off field activities as being a distraction. Darya Klishina said “Athletics is a priority for me. But I believe that my Public Relations activities are also necessary. I want to make my sport long jumping more popular and unfortunately it’s impossible if you only jump.” Darya may have noticed that the only non professional sports athlete in the Forbes 100 top earners is Usain Bolt. Darya seems in need of famed sports psychologist Bob Rotella.

Darya Klisina says that she has trouble leaving from the board and that jumping before the board costs her precious distance. Darya Klishina nude model and future Olympic long jump champion in Rio 2016 said “I felt like my head and my legs existed separately from each other and I was so nervous that I could not relax and perform my best jump.” Coach Maslakov may have done her a favor by recognizing that Darya is still too green.

Teenage Saudi judo fighter Wojdan Shahrkani has been permitted by the IOC to wear her hijab while she fights. Darya Klishina should wear her iPod as she races down the track playing “Go ahead and jump. Get it and jump. Jump! Go ahead and jump. Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump!”
