It was the most wonderful day for whole India after Winning the Twenty20 World Cup. A day to remeber for long time not for making Australia down but for also for Kumble who reached a golden Milestone which he had dream for so any years. Kumble today became first Indian bowler to take 600 wickets in Test matches. Today Australian will be thinking that they underestimated Indian team and will be feeling sorry for their performance. Last four years Australian team hadnt seen such horrible day which ight cause a home lose but also their dream of winnig 17 conecutive test match will be going with wind. Today Indian bowlers were at top. All four bowlers of India proved destructive for Australia. Kumble marched to 600 wickets plus the Real damage to Australian team was done by young and inexperienced Fast pace attack. Irfan Pathan brought openers down, Ishant pulling middle order down and R P Singh pulling last batsmen out of the ground made Australia to wrap up the innings in just 50 overs only.

The wonderful day started with India batsmen struggling to score a target of 400 runs in first innings. With Irfan and Dhoni on pitch it was looking like that India might reach to 400 runs soon. But when score just 328  on board the things started to changed. Seeing The situation Ponting called Clark to attack on Indian Batsmen and he proved destructive for partnership that was building troubling for Aussies. Clark put Dhoni's innings down. Soon Johnson too charges and took Irfan wicket in just 2 run adding to the Indian total. India was down to 8 for 300 only. RP Singh and Kumble wasnt able to handle the pace attack at all and gave their wickets to Aussies without adding more run to 330 figure and Indian inning finished for 300 runs only. In 17 balls India manage to add 2 runs only and gave their last four wickets too. Ponting was happy with this.

Chris Rogers, who had helped end India's first innings came with full excitment to play in his home ground but his excitment ended soon when Irfan Pathan put a good ball to him and he padded that bowl giving Irfan to appead and umpire giving Irfan benefit of doubt and Roger had to go pavilion back. In next Two balls later, the Indian joy was doubled, with Phil Jaques edging a perfect outswinger to second slip. That left Australia at 2 for 13, and when Michael Hussey nibbled one behind off RP, India had well and truly turned the match around.

Indian bowlers were getting good support from pitch and Australian batsmen were struggling on their home ground. Ponting was not looking comfortable with Indian attack and gave his wicket soon to Irfan pathan's magical bowling. He gave a good catch to Dravid making his 164 catches in his test career. Soon Ishant too came in action and australia lost their half of innigs when Clarke gave his wicket to Ishant.

But Symonds and Adam Gilchrist were not in the mood to give any width to Indian attack and they both played their natural game and built a good partenrship. Sachin left one chance to break this partnership by taking catch of Symonds . He proved destructive to Indian team and it looked like that India will slip the big chance but Kumble strike by taking his 600 wickets in form of Symonds who was playing good at 66. A stream of joy flow thorugh ground when umpire fingered went up to give symonds out. Soon Adam too who was not able to handle attacks of RP Songh gave his catch to Dhoni and Australia was struggling on 192 for 7 . Soon Last three remaining wickets fell like sands fell from hand. Australia innings finished for 218 runs only and gave India a good lead of 112 runs.

With hope of giving a wonderful target to Australia Virendra and Jaffer came to open the second inning . They both looked to have fun and was playing with attack . Virendra sehwag looked good and was in mood to give no mercy to Aussies. It was looking llike that the day will end without India losing any wicket but Jaffer wasnt able to resist Australian attack and gave his wicket to Clark when scored reeached 45. Without losing more wickets India ended second day's play for 52 for 1 with Irfan and Sehwag on the pitch.

Day 3 plannong: India will plan to get a good lead and give Aussies a traget of close to 400 whereas Aussies will try to take all advantages all chances they gave to save this test from going away from their hands. Lest see what will happen on third's day play. Will sachin make a centruy or not.
