India got beaten by 13 instead of 11 players. You will be shock when u read this line but this is true. Due to bad rather I will say worse umpiring by Umpires India lost the Second Test. If unpiring was doen with full honestly then the result would have been different.This test will be remained not because Ausssies won their consective 16 win but by the bad umpiring done by Umpires. If umpires makes 1 or 2 mistake in a test can be tolerated but with more than 11 wrong Decision made by Umpires cant be Ingnored. On First Day more than 7 wrong Decision were made and all cricket experts were astonished to see it. Lets first review day 5 play. The worse day of Cricket started with Australia batting so as to give a good target to India and they try to win this test. With Hussey and Andrew on the pitch it was looking like that soon we will see some good shots and India will hve to Chase 300 plus total. the thoughts was becoming reality. Hussey reached a superb hundred soon. Andrew Symonds getting confidence from first innings started playing Indian COmf ortably. Andrew join the party and score a wanted 50 at that time. The fifth wicket partnership after adding 128 runs Andrew wasnt able to continue and gave his wicket and he got out after scoring 61 runs and Australia was 5-378. So0n Australia Declared their innings for 401-7 with hussey on pitch who was looking for 150 but settled for 145 runs only.

India required 333 runs to win , Ricky Pointing was confident on his bowlers about taking all 10 wickets of India in 72 overs. His confidence was proved right soon with JAffer, Laxman and Sachin gave their wickets soon and India struggling 54 for 3. WIth Dravid and Saurav on the pitch it was looking that test will end draw but umpires was in different mood. Dravid when on 38 lookinh like dangerous for Umpire gave him out.

The foolish Umpiring came into to role. Dravid defended a ball of Andrew Symonds beautifully but Steve Bucknor upheld a spirited appeal for the catch behind when the ball had come off the knee roll.With all the replays it showed that Bat was behing the pad and the ball just touched the Pad not the bat. Getting such type of decision Dravid got angry and left the field by hitting the ground by the bat.

Ganguly was looking very Dangerous , he was scoring with run a ball. And scored a marvelous 50 . But Umpires werent happy.Ganguly slashed one to Clarke in the slips cordon. Clarke went low to take the catch and it was not clear if he had got his fingers under the ball, but that should have proved to be irrelevant as he subsequently grounded the ball, tumbling to his left in the process of completing the catch. Mark Benson, called upon to rule on this one, chose not to ask his partner at square-leg, or go to the third umpire, and instead was satisfied by a word from Ricky Ponting, also stationed at slip.why on the earth had gone wrong to benson why he asked the fielder only, he asked a man who few mins before appealed a bat-pad catch which was grounded in the process. This shows that Benson trust Ricky Pointing more than the others.

All of the world was angry on this, Sunil gavaskar who keep calm at any decision too got angry and said that the Decision was ful NONSENSE. But what he can do Ganguly have to go to Pavillion and India was 6-137. It was upto Dhoni and Kumble to save the test as Yuvraj Singh wast able to come in the form and gave his wicket easily.

Dhoni and Kumble were looking steady and Dhoni was playing one geniue innning on this tour . India was looking like saving the test but ANdrew got the break through as Dhoni Carelessly leaved one good ball of Andrew Symonds and was lbw on it.Then cam Harbhajan Singh who played superbly in first inning was expexted to play like that in second inning. He was doing the same but POinting took a risk gave bowling Clarke and he proved fatal for Indian. In his second over he wrapped India's remianing 3 wickets in that. Harbahajan Singh, RP Singh and Ishant Sharma gave their wicket to Clarke second over Nad Australia made the record of winning 16 test in a row.

But this win is not Geniune win to Australia. Umpiring was the major fact in this win. DUe to worse Umpiring by Bucknor and Benson Australia manage to win. If they had done it India would have win this test. The umpiring in this test was much below the standard umpiring. The two Umpires are good umpires but today were worse than the standard umpires. It was like they dont like India at all.
