05/05/10 Newark DE: The University of Delaware Men’s lacrosse squad beats #9 Drexel in the Colonial Athletic Association Semifinals game this evening. This evening’s game was an emotional one for Delaware goalkeeper Noah Fossner who lost his mother on Sunday after a long battle with cancer. Despite Fossner loss, Noah registered 14 saves to lead the No. 2 seed Blue Hens to their fourth straight victory, Putting away Drexel 15-12.

Delaware will face the Towson Tigers on Saturday, May 8th at Johnny Unitas Stadium at 2:30p in Towson Md. Towson beat Massachusetts earlier this evening 13-6 after being behind 2-0. Towson then went on a 9-1 run en route to their victory. Top-seeded Towson will face the fighten Blue Hens of Delaware in the Colonial Athletic Association men’s lacrosse championship game, winner will earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
