Denver Broncos Uniforms: Pics, Video of New Throwback Yellow Unis
Do not adjust your television set. Those Denver Broncos uniforms you saw during their Oct. 11 game against the New England Patriots are bright yellow. And those pants? Brown. Best of all those socks feature yellow and brown vertical stripes. Not exactly a look that the Broncos fans are used to.
So why are the Broncos wearing yellow and brown uniforms? They did it to celebrate the AFL's 50th anniversary. The Broncos and Pats are two of the AFL's original teams meaning that both teams are also celebrating their 50th birthday.
The Broncos have decided to celebrate their golden anniversary by wearing golden jerseys that the team wore in the early 1960s. The yellow and brown combo isn't unheard of in football. What is unusual are the vertical-striped socks, something that no doubt will catch the eyes of fans watching on TV today.
