Deon Beasley of the University of Texas appears to have suffered an injury during the Longhorns game against Texas A&M. The Deon Beasley injury occurred on a kickoff return when Beasley found himself on the wrong end of a hellacious head-to-head collision with Aggies linebacker Anthony Lewis. Beasley lay motionless on the field for several minutes. Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman appeared to ask his players take a knee out of respect for Beasley.

As Deon Beasley was carted off the field, he held his arm up to the crowd and gave the crowd a Hook 'Em Horns sign to indicate that he was OK.

According to the ESPN broadcast, Deon Beasley "checked out OK" and was not seriously injured.
