During Venus Williams' Wimbledon match on June 22, 2011, you may have heard NBC announcer Dick Enberg say something that made you say, "Pardon?"

During the Venus Williams-Kimiko Date-Krumm match, Dick Enberg made reference to blue balls. We think he meant tennis balls.

We're not quite sure what Enberg was talking about, but it sounded like he was talking about an former leader of the All-England club who didn't have his color code right, and went on to say: "you realize we have yellow balls and green grass stains and that we'll have bloody blue balls at Wimbledon."

Color commentator Chris Evert wisely responded to the Dick Enberg 'blue balls' comment by saying: "“I’ll leave that one alone.”
