US Tennis Star Mardy Fish Called Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga a Dumbass During their Match at the 2011 US Open on Monday September 5, 2011. Here is the Video

So much for hospitality. US tennis player Mardy Fish appeared to call opponent Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France a "dumbass."

During a changeover late in the match, Mardy Fish clearly called somebody a dumbass. He can be heard saying, "Now who's talking about who's box making noise...I don't speak French, you dumbass."

According to The Wall Street Journal, Mardy Fish complained to the umpire Carlos Bernades that the people in Tsonga's box were speaking too loudly. Tsonga apparently had  complained earlier in the match that someone is Fish's box was making noise.

Some think the "dumbass" comment was directed at Bernades. Chris Chase of Busted Raquet say Fish's "dumbass" remark was directed at Tsonga.

After the match, Mardy Fish admitted that he "shouldn't have said that."
