Chelsea star Didier Drogba suffered an injury during his team's match with Norwich on Saturday, August 27, 2011.

At about the 63-minute mark, Didier Drogba was knocked out cold after colliding with Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy.

Drogba raised up to head the ball only to have Ruddy punch the ball away, striking the Ivorian in mid-air. Drogba appeared to have been knocked before he hit the ground.

Drogba was sent off on a stretcher. There are some reports that Didier Drogba suffered a broken neck in the collision with Ruddy, although that has not been confirmed.

There are also reports that Drogba is now conscious after being knocked out for about 30 minutes.

Whatever the injury, let's hope Drogba makes a full recovery.
