Anyone doubts that MMA is a tough sport should check out a photo of Diego Sanchez's face after his fight with BJ Penn at UFC 107. Penn dominated Diego Sanchez throughout their UFC 107 title fight and the proof was written all over Diego Sanchez's face.

BJ Penn started the fight by dropping Diego Sanchez and connecting on a series of punches. Sanchez managed to barely survive the initial onslaught, but by the third round Diego Sanchez's face was bloodied.

During the final round BJ Penn opened up a nasty gash on Diego Sanchez's face with a powerful kick to the head. The Diego Sanchez gash was so big that the fight had to be stopped.
